The Illinois Arborist Association (IAA) is a volunteer organization that champions the care and preservation of trees throughout the state of Illinois. Research of new planting, pruning and climbing techniques as well as educating both members and non-members alike are at the heart of our organization. Sponsors of IAA events play a critical role in allowing us to offer a variety of events to our members as well as opportunities for vendors of our industry to make connections with existing and future clients! This interaction and collaboration of arborist and vendors of industry helps the growth, exchanging of ideas and advancement of the industry! Benefits of sponsoring IAA events –

Sponsorship levels will be allocated on a first-come, first served basis, meaning that companies participating in the 2024 sponsorship program will earn their status based on their contributions throughout the year. For example, if Company ABC contributes $2,000 for an event early in the year, they will be recognized as a Silver Sponsor. If Company ABC donates an additional $2,000 later in the summer, they will be elevated to the status of a Gold Sponsor, and so on.
Platinum Sponsorship: Sponsors who contribute $5,500 or more will be recognized as platinum sponsors.
Gold Sponsorship: Sponsors who contribute $3,300 or more will be recognized as gold sponsors.
Silver Sponsorship: Sponsors who contribute $2,200 or more will be recognized as silver sponsors.
These sponsorship levels are designed to acknowledge and honor the generous support of our sponsors based on their respective contribution amounts.
The benefits associated with the Platinum, Gold, and Silver Sponsorships are as follows:

ComEd Corporate Cup Tree Climbing Award
This award was created to increase participation in the Illinois Tree Climbing Championship by fostering competition between companies. We hope this traveling Corporate Cup will demonstrate the value of teamwork.
Rules of the Corporate Challenge
- Companies or groups must register prior to the competition.
- A minimum of three climbers per company.
- The combined individual point totals for the top three company participants will be used to determine the Corporate Cup winner.
- Preliminary event scores will be used. No Masters’ Challenge points will be included in the Corporate Cup Challenge.
- In the event of a tie, the first three scores of the companies involved for the Belayed Speed Climb will determine the winner.
