The Urban Soil & Nutrient Management module provides an in-depth study of how soils affect tree health and vitality. Soil quality and nutrient management are primary concerns for arborists, as they directly impact tree and shrub establishment, growth, health, and longevity. This course covers essential topics such as the characteristics of “ideal” soil, soil properties, and proper and effective soil management techniques.
