Course Description
The Abiotic Problems module will provide an in-depth study of common abiotic stresses on trees and woody plants. Topics will include a comprehensive review of common abiotic disorders such as environmental conditions that contribute to plant stress, nutrient deficiencies, pollution and chemical injury, animal/mechanical damage, and human-induced stresses. The importance and utility of effective diagnostic skills and the importance of soil, water, and plant tissue lab analysis in diagnosing and solving plant problems will be emphasized.
