3rd Annual Student Forestry Field Day

May 14, 15 & 16, 2019

University of Illinois Dixon Springs Ag Center and the Touch of Nature
Are you looking to recruit forestry students? This is the time and place!

The Illinois Arborist Association (IAA), the Illinois Forestry Association (IFA), Southern Illinois University and University of Illinois Departments of Forestry are sponsoring a three-day Adventure in Forestry Training and Conservation as part of this year’s Forestry Summer Camp Curriculum.  Come out and join us and meet the new blood that will be entering the industry. Our recruitment opportunities give you access to watch bright, growing talent learn hands-on tree climbing, chainsaw use and safety, aerial lift demonstrations, chipper and equipment demonstrations, as well as invasive species ID and control. This training will focus on procedures, safety, tools and processes used when managing urban trees, parks and wildlands. Don’t miss this opportunity to amplify your recruiting efforts and expand your outreach through sponsorship of this event!
