Title: Young Tree Pruning
Speaker: Jake Miesbauer, The Morton Arboretum
Summary: Should we prune trees at the time of planting? Opinions differ, but research shows that young trees can benefit from pruning to remove structural defects. Many trees that arrive from nurseries will have some type of structural problem and fixing them when trees are planted is a quick and easy way to help trees get off to a good start. This presentation will show you how, and hopefully spark a lot of discussion.
